* we do not ship dogs, but if you are willing to travel to
meet one of our dogs fostered in another state, then you are welcome to
apply for adoption. With the increased cost of travel, GLWR will do what we
can to make it easy for potential adaptors to meet dogs.

Jack

Are you looking for a sweet, devoted, lovable Weim? If so, you need to meet Jack.
Jack is a young male in transition who had a rough start at life but is making up for it now. Jack is handsome and has great indoor manners. He doesn’t counter surf, he free roams nicely without chewing, he rarely barks, he gets along great with his 2 foster sisters, he doesn’t jump on people, and he doesn’t expect to lounge on the bed or other furniture.
If you are a runner, then Jack would LOVE to be your loyal running partner. He is just getting started with his running career, but is up to a 5 mile run and is getting better every day with his leash manners. Jack never got to go for long walks or a run when he was young so he just can’t get enough time outside exploring new roads and trails. He will end each run with endless smiles and full-body wags to show you his appreciation.
Jack’s prey drive is too strong to live with cats, but he is fine with his 2 foster Weim sisters and needs to have a canine sibling. He lived with children in his early years and did fine with them too.
Jack still needs to learn to control his excitement in new places and when meeting and playing with new dogs, but time and patience with his training is helping with this. Jack has waited a long time to find a home with humans that will love him for being him. Is that you?
